I just experianced knee pain last night during a training run, I was skiing this weekend with no problems, 2-3 miles into my 8 mile run last night my knee started to hurt I ran alittle longer on it thinking that it would work out.....seemingly got alittle worst so I stopped and limped home, today it still hurts. The pain is on the outside part of my knee seemingly on the joint (left and below my knee cap). I'm putting ice on the knee now. It is painful to walk normally and walk stairs but I'm still able to put full weight on that leg and completely flex my knee (slowly). Is this a major cause for concern, or is it poss. a strain and some ice and keeping off it for alittle bit will take care of it. The pain really did come out of no where with no soreness or stiffness leading up to it.
