I have been prescribed two different drugs for claudication, and am concerned about the effects of them together. I have Claudication, and vascular disease. The drugs are CILOSTAZOL, AND CLOPIDOGREL. I am prescribed 200 mg per day of the CILOSTAZOL, and 75 mg per day of the CLOPIDOGREL.

You can read about the effects of Cilostazol here. It breaks down the effects from common to rare

Cilostazol

Same here for Clopidogrel

Clopidogrel

Also, there is no drug to drug interaction between these two medications. But do note that not all interactions are always known. So if you do take them together, make sure you know how they may effect you prior to any activity.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!

Reply to Lindie's Post: My concern was that taking them both together may thin my blood too much, but apparently they are OK. Thanks for your help
