hi. Our daughter will be six in Aug and she gets numerous bruises from her knees down to her ankles, on both legs. We just got very nervous because a dance friend just told us that was how they first diagnosed her daughter with leaukemia. Just hopefully being a worried paranoid parent, but wanted to see what would be causing such substantial bruising? Or if it could be a vitamin defiency, or something else?

Hi Jules

The only way to know for sure is to have her tested by the doctor. A simple blood test will start giving clues as to the cause.

Some people bruise more than others, but I would have it checked out so you won't worry.
