I have a 3 year old son with Esotropia and Amblyopia. He has ahd 2 eye muscle surgeries and have been patching for almost 2 years. His dr says he has a lot of retina pigment epithelial changes and a pale nerve in his amblyopia eye, and his foveal reflex is not very prominent. I am very concerned. He is scheduled for an MRI next week. Could you tell me what other things could cause this? I'm beggining to think it is something other then a lazy eye.
