I work in an Assisted Living facility, and have a resident who has Guillan Barre Syndrome.   Could this condition possibly be related to her severe short term memory loss?

This condition is not related with short term memory loss. This is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks part of the peripheral nervous system.
