Sex after loosing a mucus plug

is it ok to have sex after loosing hte mucus plug? I am 37 weeks pregnant, have lost the mucus plug, 3 cm dilated, 80% effaced, and the baby is at -1 station. Is it still safe to make love now or should I refrain until after the baby is born?
