I have had ibs my whole life pretty much. But now I am experiencing something much worse. now I dont even have the normal urge to defecate anymore. My whole abdominal area sweels up to make me look 7 months pregnant, yet I can no longer go to the bathroom on my own. This is the most disturbing thing to share with even a doctor, but I dont even know when I need to go , unless I put my thumb into my vagina, and feel a mass or not. If I do, then I need to do whatever Ican, to make it all come out! It is the most excruciating pain like pushing out a baby, and I have pushed out 4! And believe me I bawel my head off each time. I have fet two lumps inside my rectum, and thier is always alot of bright red blood. So I know I am not bleeding eternally. I am rarely hungry, sometimes I go 3 days without eating, and I dont even realize it till one of my good friends asks me if i've eaten lately! I am 5'10,and about 133-136 if I havent had a bowel movement in a few weeks. Please could you offer me some direction! thank-you Heidi Bakke
