Question

Low White Blood Cell Count

Sent to Health Experts March 16, 2006 7:30 p.m.

I am a 48 year old very athletic male. I do take occasional Xanax or Lunesta only for insomnia. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. Blood tests have shown that my White Blood Count is consistently low. 3.8 to 2.75. What could this mean? Should I be concerned. I have no obvious symptoms. No chance of aids. Married and monogamous for 25 years. Thanks. Eddie Jensen
