I have just begun a fitness routine, and while on the treadmill the balls of my feet hurt. My toes go to sleep, and often cramp. I have good walking shoes, gel inserts, and do not lace my shoes too tightly. I had the sesamoid bone removed from my right foot about ten years ago. I am 51, about 10 lbs. overweight, and have been inactive due to illness for several years. This was my ninth day in the gym, and it still hurts.
Thank you,
