I am having a colonoscopy early tomorrow a.m. (Monday 3/20). I was supposed to drink the Fleet Phospo Soda twice on Sunday, but I misread my instruction and took one yesterday. I was going to take the 2nd one today when I realized I should have taken both of them today, not just one. I 've been drinking lots of water and haven't eaten all day today. Had my last laxative-type bowel movement about 9am this morning - not very much and very runny. Do I have to get a 3rd Fleet Phospho Soda and take 2 today? I was also instructed to take Ducolax tonight. Do I have to, since I don't intend to eat anything at all today (water and hot tea only) and very, very little yesterday? How about just flushing constantly with lots of water and taking just the remaining Fleet Phospho Soda today?

Actually your question answered itself. Your fine. I have gone through several of these and I messed my first one up the same exact same way. Stay with the Dulcolax tonight. No need for the additional 3rd.Fleet Phospho. But do take the second. Do continue to drink fluids but not colored fluids. These tend to stain the interior of the lining wall. What your wanting is a clear liquid BM or just Gas. You will know by tonight or mid evening how well cleaned out your system is. Make sure you have plenty of tissue. My big mistake the first time.
