If a diabetic has been given a glucagon for a hypo, is it possible to have another hypo later the same day?

Hi,

Yes it is possible to have another hypoglycemia later in the same day in diabetic patients, from an unintended excess of injected insulin or oral glucose-lowering medication, such as a sulfonylurea like Glucotrol, that are being used to treat the diabetes. Hypoglycemia also may occur as a result of insufficient caloric intake or sudden, excessive physical exertion.
