IN TRAMATIC HEAD INJURIES THE INTRACRANIAL PRESSURE GOES UP IN NUMBER, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE NORMAL RANGES FOR INTRACRANIAL PRESSUE ARE.

The normal ICP is 15 mm Hg or 150-200 mm of water. It raises significantly with simple things like snezing and coughing to 50-60 mm Hg. Just think what happens when patients are suctioned, turned, etc.! Thans for the opportunity, Judy, RN
