Is it healthy to put lemon juice on a new baby's hair to lighten it, if not why ?

Lemon juice is very acidic and can cause irritation to a tender young scalp. You could also accidentally get some in the babys eyes or ears. This would cause severe burning. I highly recommend you not do this. Enjoy your baby the way he/she is. They are only babies once. There will be plenty of time to lighten hair later. It is better to be safe than sorry.
