Hello

It could be an allergy to the soap you are using, or if you are using any kind of lotion. It could also be that you have an allergy to latex that condoms are made of or to the spermicide. If it has been awhile since you've worn a condom though, it is more likely an allergy to your soap, lotion, or maybe laundry detergent.

Reply to Kerry's Post: Thanks for answering so quickly. No spermicide and would they return everytime I had sex even if a condom was not used?

It could be that the area is already more tender and more fragilly healed since this happened once already. It may be that you have to wait longer for true healing to take place before having sex again. Again, I would try changing soaps or lotions or lubricants and see if that helps.

Once you know for sure the area is fully healed, it should not return again. Even if it was herpes, it wouldn't happen just because you had sex. Herpes outbreaks happen more randomly. This is why I'm leaning toward the allergy aspect.

You might want to try taking a benadryl capsule before having sex again to see if that helps. Or, take it if the bumps come back.
