I have some pain and swelling in my ankles. I have never experienced this before. I recently had been taking the generic version of Levoxyl for 2.5 weeks previous to this pain and swelling. I have now switched back to the Levoxyl, since I never had a problem with it. However, while there is less pain, it is still there, along with the swelling. Nothing I do seems to help. So far, I've tried elevating my feet for a while, stretching, epsom salt baths, drinking lots more water than normal (normal for me is approx. 75 oz/day), drinking less water than normal. What should I do?

Optional Information:

Already Tried:
Pain cremes, advil, epsom salt baths, drinking more water, drinking less water, elevating my feet for while, stretching, walking

This can also be a sign of a circulation problem as well, so even though the Levoxyl has been helping you need to be seen for further evaluation into whether this could be caused by poor circulation and allow them to do further bloodwork and testing to determine if this is the cause. Water retention can also cause this so this could also be a cause as well. I would continue with everything you are doing at this time as these can all be a help but you should not still have the swelling you are having.
