How do I get on Medicare when I turn 65?

I will be 65 in Nov 2006. What am I supposed to do to make sure that I get Medicare coverage?

To start Medicare you must contact them and they will send you a Medicare card. If you are already recieving Social Security benifits or benifits from the Railroad Retirement Board you shoud be automatically enrolled the first day of the month that you turn 65.
