whatcould cause bleeding from penis?

i first saw a drop after urinating 2 days ago. This morning I felt what seemed like some discharge and was horrified to find that it was blood. I have not been sexually active for about 5 months. I do work out rather strenuously though and I sit at a computer for about 10 hours a day.
