I am a 77-yr old, white male and I have constant pain in the calves of my legs since mid March. It is continuous whether I am sitting, lying down (altho somewhat better at this time) but worse when I am walking. It started in the back of my thighs and calves but has now settled in the calves of my legs. My legs and ankles and feet swell. The Dr. has me taking 3 demadex a day and it helps sometimes and othertimes does not. Drs. are questioning whether it could be from Lipitor and I have been off of Lipitor since the 28th of March. I do have very bad kidneys -- was diagnosed with Wegoner's vasculitis in Oct. 2000 but it seems to be in remission. Any suggestions of what this leg pain could be from? It seems as tho I had been exercising vigorously but I have not been. The pain does not let up.
