My son takes Risperdal and this med, elevates his

My son takes Risperdal and this med, elevates his prolactin level, his dr. prescribed Dostinex for the last 4 years I had to change dr. because of insurance reasons and a new Dr. said that dostinex is not necesary even if his prolactin is at 70 and he said there is no reason to give the 2 meds together because one contradics the other and he doesn't want to refill it , is that right?
