I was told there is a density in the mammagram that they cannot read and they want to redo the xray. Is this a real problem or should I not worry.

Hi,

I wouldn't worry to much at this point as it could be a number of things other then breast cancer. It may also be a infected milk gland or a cyst these are very common in women and are in fact for the most part no big deal.

The hospital always wans to do a more detailed mammogram or xray when ever anything is found, so if it is something to worry about it can be found quickly and treated.
