Thank you for this opportunity to ask a question. I am 65, female, in good health. Having had intercourse for the 1st time in a long time recently, I experienced pain at the opening of the vigina. Did I use a bad lubercation? Is the opening becoming unable to stretch? It seemed to be only in a small area. It was red & painfull for a day or so. What shall I do next time?

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),

I don't think it was a"bad" lubrication, maybe you did not use enough lubrication. You should use a lubrication specifically made for intercourse, lubrications such as baby oil or other "around the house" type of lubricants can cause a reaction. You don't have to worry about the opening being unable to stretch, women can accomadate almost any size without a problem. The fact that it's been a while, it could be a "friction burn" from the rubbing back and forth, which like you mentioned will go away in a day or two, and probably will not happen every time you have intercourse. So don't let this stop you from having fun. ;)

I hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please let me know. Feel free to request me anytime you have a question. If this has helped, please click the green accept button.
