Last night I had an attack of some kind. My speech became slurred and my voice sounded funny. I thought I was having a stroke and called 911. By the time they arrived, I was fine and they told me a stroke would not clear up in 10 minutes so it had to be something else. Other than elevated B/P, my vital signs were normal. This morning it happened again. When I awoke, I was having difficulty breathing, my speech and my voice were funny, and I was having difficulty moving as though my whole body was falling "asleep" (like my circulation was being cut off.) I was able to move but with some difficulty. Again, the whole thing cleared up in a few minutes. I feel fine now except for a sharp pain in the back of my head which I have had one and off for three days. I also noticed yesterday that when I tried to speak, I would drop syllables. Lately, I have also been biting my tongue a lot like I have lost control of it. I am 51 years old and have no conditions that I know of.
