2 days ago I accidently hit my left leg (below the knee), on a metal bar stool pretty hard and I iced it right away. I am now on the third day, and the massive bruise is very yellow. I am concerned about the hard spot. Is this dangerous? can this lead to blood clots? What can I due to treat it further besides take Vitamin C supplements? I just had spider veins removed by laser and was told not to take aspirin products. Please advise, I've had post partum blood clots in the past that traveled to my lung and I am terrified of clots. Can a large bruise cause a blood clot from cuagulated blood??
