I have a sudden sharp stabbing pain on the left side ...

I have a sudden sharp stabbing pain on the left side near my temple. I have had chronic headahces for years, but this is definitely not a headache and a completely new feeling. The stabbing pain lasts for 5-10 seconds at a time but is almost constant in occurance.

The best advice I can give is to call your physician. as this is a change in the type of headache you normally experience. Have you noticed any decrease in the sensation as a result of trying aspirin, tylenol, advil?

My other question is do you have any type of jaw pain? Clicking? High blodd pressure? Have you began any new medications?
