I recently was away on a romantic getaway with my husband, we had a swimming pool in our room, two hrs after our return home, I started on a nightmare experience with an ear infection, ended up in the hospital for 5 days and still cannot hear normally out of infected ear, It was a bacterial infection. What are the chances that I contracted this bacteria in the heated pool in our room? I swim everyday in the summer and shower once sometimes twice a day, so I have hard time believing it was solely from water in my ear., since I have never had this problem before.
