I have a question concerning menstruation. My youngest daughter was born last August, and I am breast feeding her. This is my first period since she was born. I have had extreme abdominal pain (I cried myself to sleep), and my bleeding has been very heavy. I'm concerned about how heavy the flow is.

Already Tried:
Before I realized the pain was associated with my period, I took Tylenol Arthritus. Then, I took ibruprophen later (overlapped). Neither helped. My biggest concern, however, is the amount of bleeding.
