I have a very painful bruise on my left calve -- above the ankle and below the sock line. It is starting to swell and parts of it are turning a deep red -- what looks like the initial stages of a severe bruise. I have full mobility in my leg and ankle, however it is very painful when I first stand up and take a few steps.
FYI, I am a 42year old male in otherwise excellent health.
