Question

When I press down on the spot that is about 2.5 inches ...

When I press down on the spot that is about 2.5 inches below my belly button and 2.5 inches over to the left-hand side, I feel slight tenderness and soreness...should I be concerned and what could this be a sympton of?

My period came about 3 weeks ago and it was about 2 weeks late. No other pains cept for when I put pressure on the area.

Hello

I don't think you need to worry now. I would keep an eye on it though, and if it gets worse, then it will merit a trip to the doctor. It could be that you have pulled a muscle, or strained in some fashion. If that is the case you will probably feel better tomorrow. Don't press on it a lot either as that can cause bruising and make it seem worse.

As long as you aren't having other symptoms, no fever, and your urine and stool are normal, I would just see what happenes over the next few days.
