If I happen to be looking to the left and suddenly turn my head to the right, it feels like something in the back of neck pops, then my whole head and neck burns and feels like it does when your foot falls asleep (the numbness and tingling). This pain also shoots down my back and I half to stop what I'm doing and close my eyes and grab my head. Does this sound like idiopathic stabbing headache? Or, could I be pinching a nerve or is it possible it could be a herniated disc. I also shiver constantly, maybe 4 to 5 times a day, as if I'm cold, even if I'm hot. Any suggestions or possible causes?
