I am 26 year old male with hpv..... I been ok latley and have not had any out breaks of genital warts..... I have only had a few and they were at the early stages.... Its been 16 months and it been good for a while, but still on my mind. I know after crazy research that 50% of sexually active people get it at one point in their life, it freaksme out b/c some people show signs and some dont, I show signs or I did... I want to be vaccinated by the Gardisal shot. From what I have read about the subject and the vaccine it works in both men and women, but Merck didnt make the information(men) about the results available.... My docotr said he wasnt sure if it would benifit me or not, I disagree. No matter what it will help boost my immune system to fight the current Hpv in my system and will protect me against the other stans.... I talked to someone at Merck and they pretty much said the same thing, what do you think? benificial for me in both ways? my last question is, with no signs of genital warts my Urologist says with a condom the chances of passing genital warts to a partner is like being struck by lightening, is that right?
