everytime my daughter has a bowl movement she bleeds. Is this something I should rush her to the emergency room for? Could it be serious?

Can you confirm how old your daughter is?

How long has this gone on for?

What colour is the blood - fresh red, dark red, tarry etc

How much blood is passed?

Is there any mucus or pus?

Any pain, constipation or irritation?

Reply to Pauline's Post: My daughter is 10 years old. she says that it hurts to have a bowl movement. The color is fresh red. I have noticed this for 2 days. It is noticed in the toilet and when she wipes her bottom the blood is mixed with the poop. But she doesn't bleed unless she has a bowl movement. no mucus or pus.
