I have had a swollen something or other on the right side of the back of my neck for several years now. Recently I noticed it had enlarged, and been joined by two more swollen regions directly behind my left ear. I must add...I got a severe amount of sun recently which caused many bumps on my head, (I shave it close) that ruptured from persistent scratching (they itched). Any ideas? I just read something that said if I've had a swollen gland for longer than a few weeks I may have severe problems...please educate?
