My granddaughter which is 12 is stopping risperdal, which she has been taking for 1 1/2 yrs. She has recently been found to have seizures on both sides of her brain. She is now taking 375 mg of Depakote twice a day. She has gradually went from oral 1/2 ml 2x's a day to .25. My question is that the past 2 days she crys for no apparent reason. I am positive it is not medicial. Could this be a reaction to the drop in risperdal?
