Have you confronted your husband about this?

What did he say?

Does he appear ill or sick?

Have you noticed any sores or cuts on his penis?

How long have you been married?

Is he in any pain at all?

I confronted him the very first day i noticed it and his reply was "I don't know how it got there honey, I didn't even notice i was bleeding, call the Dr. and make an Appt." Those were his exact words.
I can tell you that there is no sores and he appears Happy and not ill.he has much energy and we've been married for 20 years, he is 54 years old I'm 43 and we are very close. I'm just so very worried and wanted to get some insight before seeing the Dr......Have any more ideas as to what could be going on?

Thankyou Kindly

Blood from the penis is not a normal sign. I would keep your appt with your doctor. This could be caused by urethral warts, a urinary tract infection, etc. The worst thing that this could be would be cancer. I don't mean to scare you and you shouldn't worry at all until the doctor's results come back. There is no sense in worrying about what hasn't been ruled out yet. Your husband will probably need a consult to see a urologist who is a specialist in conditions involving the urinary tract. A urine sample and x-rays may be taken initially and he may have to have a cytoscopy done also. This is where a lighted, very, very, small "hose" is used to look at his urethra. My main advice is don't worry. Doctors nowadays have many tools to get down to the root of urinary problems accurately.

On the subject of him not telling you about the blood:

First it may be true that he may not have noticed but I find it unlikely that this is the case.
What is more likely is that he noticed it and hoped that it would go away. This is kind of a standard thing most men do, in my opinion and including myself lol.
