how do you get rid of bad taste in back of mouth?

This can be caused by the buildup of debris that breeds bacteria in the little spaces around the tonsils, called crypts. The buildup is called a tonsil stone or tonsillolith. They give off a smell of rotten eggs because they are made up of sulfurproducing bacteria and other material.
These are hard to get rid of, but there are some home remedies that help and tons of places on the net that sell products for this problem. I do not have personal experience with these products, so I will not provide links to them. I refer you to the dictionary for an explanation of the cause, and suggest that you see your dentist, PCP, or ENT for a full evaluation and recommemded treatment:
