Question

I am a 19 year old Black female and I am 5'5 inches ...

Sent to Health Experts July 17, 2006 1:09 p.m.

I am a 19 year old Black female and I am 5'5 inches tall. I have a medium frame but I weigh 160 pounds. When I tell people my weight, they never believe me until I get on the scale and show them. According to the height/weight charts that I have seen, I'm supposed to weigh 130 pounds. I don't consider myself to be fat because I have a lot of muscle mass. Do you think that I am at risk for any health conditions because I weigh so much? I feel that if I do lose 30 pounds, I would be too thin. I like my figure the way that it is now, but I don't want to have health problems because of my weight. What should I do?
