Numerous operations on knee

Hi, My sis in law has had 9 operations on her knee and included in that number were 2 knee replacements. She has CONSTANT pain and every operation she gets is to hopefully relieve that but only gets worse. She is only 38yrs old. This all started when she fell in a hole on her property that the builders left open. This was approx. 8 yrs ago. Her last knee replacement was this past Jan.

Is there any hope for this kind of situation or has there been way too much trauma to hope to be relatively pain free? she is on constant pain killers
