I have a question about scars ...

I have a question about scars. I had some moles taken off my face 2 years ago, and the scars are red and visible.

However, whenever I get a tan, I look very attractive. It's as if when my skin darkens I look better. Is there any way to either fade my scars or darken my skin to this level permanently?
