Please tell me which everyday foods contain carbohydrates

My husband has been told to reduce his carbohydrate intake and we need to know which everyday foods we need to reduce

Already Tried:
Eating a normal diet, with fresh fruit and veg, not too much meat, very little butter, salt and sugar. My husband is a diabetic, controlled with tablets.

The following everyday foods are known to be high in Carbohydrates:

  • Pasta
  • Breads
  • Rice
  • Whole grains
  • Cereal
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables (beans especially)
  • Baked Potatoes
  • Some Dairy products
  • Muffins
