I was reading about IEED, and wondered if it aslo is connected to brain damage resulting from Reyes Syndrome. My daughter had Reyes Syndrome when she was 2 years old, and I was told then, because of the area of the brain that was damaged, to expect some emotional instability. She does get emotional very easily, and sometines takes things that happen so personaly. She has been known to have what been called a melt-down--where she goes off on a tangient.
If more is known about IEED, is there a treatment that is found to be effective?
