I have a discoloration problem that is spreading. It's on my right leg and right side of my stomach. What should I do to treat this?

Is the discoloration a flat red rash or is it a "raised" red rash? Is it itchy? Have you been lying on your right side on something e.g. a wool blanket that may have caused an allergic reaction?

Reply to Dr. Hanson's Post: I am a African American teenager. The color the skin is spotted in a lighter brown color. I have had for a few years now. I don't think its from an allergic reation.
