Hello,

I would suggest that you make an appointment with your doctor. A neurological work-up is warranted along with blood tests to rule-out g for rheumatological disease such as arthritis. The name of the blood tesr is an ANA test. Another specific test to have perform is related to muscle inflammation (myositis) and should also be considerd.

You should also discuss EMG studies to evaluate for any nerve conduction disorders. A more specialized test, like a muscle biopsy, can also be considered if the initial tests are non-revealing.
