I have a large spot or somekind of patch on my skin

Hello I'm a 43 year old mother of seven and about two years ago I have a spot appear on the top right side of my right hand.It's dark,ruff and has hair going out of it.I am a proffessional driver.I drive motorcoach buses and I thought that this may be a fugus from the sterling wheel.It doesn't itch or burn can you tell me what this could be ?
