Is there any way that an 18 year old teenage boy can still grow even if his bones are almost fused and his bone age is 3 months older than his chronological age? If they're "almost" isn't there any hope whatsoever that there is still a change he'll continue to grow into his 20's? My teenager suffers so much (he's 5'1.5") and he's devastated by the news. I just can't give up hope.

There is a chance that he will grow some, however slight it may be, in the next 4-5 years. Since he is very concerned now, I would see about getting him certain kinds of shoes that will increase height but don't appear to. Stay away from pills and other things that the WEB WWW is full of. Most of these haven't ever been tried and most of the facts that it helps are false. If this answer helps please helps please hit the accept button. Thank you.
