i recieved an injury to my foot on the top near the ...

i recieved an injury to my foot on the top near the 4th and 5th metatarsal bones it was stomped on by a boy wearing steel toe boots i was barefooted i went to the hospital and the physican had xrays done he said he didnt see no fractures. 2 days later im still swollen with it being too painful to bear weight and my whole foot including my last 3 toes are black and blue is it possible he missed something should i got to an bone specialist, and if it is jus bruised how long does it take before i can bear weight...he didnt wrap it or anything
