How does my son stop drinking vodka without dying? He had drank vodka for over 5 years and only throws up every 5 minutes when hes not to drinking . He has been to rehab several times. Hospitals several times. He starts throwing up for a 24 hours period, non stop then he starts throwing up blood, by that time I have to call 911 or he will die. He says he wants to wen himself off. Is it possible? What can I do to help him.
A year ago he was told if he drinks he will die. He has a beautiful 6 year old, who loves him very much and she will not understand. Please help me to help him. Sherill

Hi

To be honest he would be safer with a carefully supervised detox programe.

If you want to wean him off then do just that.

Reduce what he drinks by 10% a day over 10 days.

Reply to Alexander Irvine's Post: Just wanted you to know that I had to call 911 and he spent 3 days in the hospital.

I will accept to pay you for your time.

Thank you,
