Sent to Health Experts September 05 12:26 AM

I have very hard floors in my home, I have been having heel pain lately. Can is possibly be heel spurs and is there a cure or relief without seeing a doctor?

Hello,

Thank you for requesting me!

You may have what is known as plantar fascitis.

As you have stated that the floors are hard in your home, avoid walking barefoot in the house. Buy yourself some comfy slippers with a nice cushioned sole. I recently bought some slip on ones at Costco that would be perfect. Look around and see what you can find.

Try these exercises:

If the problem persists, make an appointment with a podiatrist for an exam and to see if sole inserts would be helpful.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
