Hi Clear:

I'm sorry to hear about your brother. Situations like this make me very sad - both for the person with the problems and for the family.

A few questions -

Does your brother have a legal guardian (e.g., court appointed), assuming he's over 18?

Does your brother work at all? Go to a day program? School?

Does he receive SSDI or SSI?

Thanks,
Emily

How old is your brother? How long have you been his guardian?

How is he doing in the day program? How did you find the day program? Was he referred by someone?

Can you share any more information with me about his situation/history, e.g., what his functioning level is (IQ, whether he can care for himself, etc)?

Thanks,
Emily
