I'm trying to find out what kind of rash that i have on my inner forearm. It's been there for about 1 1/2 - 2 years now. it is long (about 3 inches) but does lengthen about 1/4" - 1/2" at times. when this happens it also darkens a bit in color and also itches alot more. It also has a rough feel to it. the color is a very very pale reddish brown color, in fact, so pale that noone knows it's there unless i point it out. it almost looks like maybe i scraped it at one point and it left like a faint scar (just a way of trying to better the picture of it for you, that didn't really happen). then when it does darken up and gets longer in length (but not width), it looks similar to a faint bruse. not purple though. A brownish, beigy color. never gets wider just longer and then goes back to the regular lenth (about 2 1/4 inches) and back to a lighter color (more pale pale rosy pink color, almost a flesh tone color). it's about 3/4" in width. there is black hair that is growing there also. there are no bumps, blisters, peeling or flaking. can you tell me what this could be. it never goes away. just veries in color, length not width and intensity of itching. please help. thanks, lori of michigan
