I just had a double mastectomy with lymph node dissection two weeks ago. I am diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and am awaiting placement of my port to begin chemotherapy next week. Is it alright to drink wine now? My surgeon said that I was able to drink whatever I wanted, but I want to make sure. Thanks, Pier

Yes of course!

Enjoy your wine - no need to worry at all.
